AYURVEDIC KADHA IMMUNITY BOOSTER DRINK

Kadha or ‘karha’
Kadha is an ayurvedic drink prepared with several herbs and spices boiled in water. ultimate home remedy for cough, cold, sore throat and even fever. This decoction works best for protecting you against seasonal infections and keeping illness at bay.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp Blackpepper
- 3 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Tsp GInger Powder
- 1 TSp Mulaeti Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 6-7 Cloves
- 1 Piece Cinnamon Stick
- 6-7 Cardamons
- few tulsi leaves
- 1 tsp Carom Seeds
- few Carom /Ajwain Leaves
- Few Lemon Grass
- 1 TSp Munakka /Jaggery/Honey
FOR INHALING – Camphor 2 pieces + Ajwain Seeds 1 Tsp
METHOD
It is used in India since ancient times but currently, it comes into the limelight due to the corona pandemic 2020. Apart from boosting your immunity, this kadha will relax your body, decrease body temperature, improve skin quality, strengthen your stomach health, and much more.
“Drinking a cup of kadha every day is enough for an adult. Contrary to a popular belief, frequent consumption of kadha would not make your immune system strong overnight. However, small dosages of kadha every day combined with a healthy diet and moderate physical activities can do wonders for your body.
Kadha is especially helpful during the Vata, or cold and dry season when allergies can arise.
Best efficacy of Ayush kadha is empty stomach in morning, after having atleast 1 glass of water. If it doesn’t suits you empty stomach try having it two hours after lunch i.e. an hour before evening snacks or tea. At night golden milk is best option to be consumed before sleeping
