Capsicum ki sabji
CAPSICUM WITH PEANUT
INGREDIENTS
- Capsicum chopped finely – 2
- Onion finely chopped – 1
- Tomato finely chopped – 1
- Curry leaves – few
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli pwdr – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Garam masala pwdr – ½ tsp [ optional ]
- Coriander pwdr – 2 tsp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves to garnish
- Roasted skinless peanut – ¼ cup
PREPARATION
Roast the peanut ,remove the skin and grind it to a coarse pwdr .Keep aside .
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan / kadai.
Add jeera and fry for few seconds.
Add onion + curry leaves and saute till translucent,
Add tomates and cook till oil separates.
Add chilli pwdr, coriander pwdr, garam masala pwdr and turmeric pwdr ,fry till raw smell leaves.
Add the chopped capsicum and salt, mix well sprinkle little water .
Cover and cook on medium flame till it becomes soft.
Keep stirring while cooking .
Once it gets cooked, add the peanut pwdr and mix well.
Cover and cook on very low flame by stirring till oil separates .
When done garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice or phulkas.
