FRENCH TOAST RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Bread slices – 6
- Egg at room temperature – 2
- Milk – ½ cup
- Sugar – 1 tsp or as per taste
- Cinnamon pwdr – a pinch
- Vanilla essence – 2 drops
- Ghee and butter to toast
METHOD
Beat the egg till fluffy using a blender .
Add sugar + essence + cinnamom + milk and blend well till frothy.
Heat a non stick pan or tawa.
Drizzle little ghee on it.
Dip each slice into the egg mixture till it is coated well on both the sides.[don’t soak it ]
Place it on the hot tawa and toast it on both sides till golden brown.
Remove from tava drizzle honey over it and serve hot.
NOTES
You can use any syrup while serving like maple syrup.
Instead of cinnamon you can use nutmeg pwdr.
If you don’t have cinnamom pwdr ,then just grate a cinnamom piece.
With the remaining egg mixture you can make pan cake.
