Fried egg masala recipe
EGG MASALA FRY RECIPE
INGREDIENT FOR EGG MARINATION
- Hard boiled eggs – 4 How to boil eggs
- Red chilli pwdr – ½ tsp
- Turmeric –a pinch
- Salt as per taste
- Rice flour or corn flour -2 tsp
- Chaat masala – ¼ tsp
- Oil for shallow fry.
METHOD –
Boil the egg for 12-15 minutes.
Peel the shell and cut into 2.
Make a paste of all the other ingredients except oil.
Apply over the egg be careful while applying over the yolk.
Keep aside for sometime.
Shallow fry on both sides and keep aside.
[ We add the flour so that the yolk doesn’t fall off ]
INGREDIENT FOR THE GRAVY
- Onion -1
- Tomato -1
- Ginger + garlic paste -1/4 tsp
- Green chilli -1 finely chopped [optional]
- Chilli pwdr – ½ tsp
- Coriander pwdr -1tsp
- Garam masala – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric pwdr – 1/3 tsp
- Kasoori methi pwdr -1/4 tsp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.
- Oil – 1tbsp
- Salt as per taste
METHOD
Make puree of onion+ tomato +ginger +garlic.
Heat oil in a pan
Add the puree and fry till oil separates
Now add the chilli pwdr + turmeric pwdr+ garam masala + coriander pwdr + green chilli.
Fry till raw smell leaves.
Adjust salt
Add water as per the consistency you want .
Once it boils add the egg ,mix well till all the eggs get coated with the masala.
Cook for 2 minutes and off the stove.
Sprinkle little kasoori methi.
Garnish with coriander leaves
