HOMEMADE BOURBON BISCUIT
CHOCOLATE CREAM BISCUIT RECIPE| BOURBON BISCUIT | HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE BISCUIT

INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 10 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cup flour (maida)
- 1 ¼ tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 or 2 tbsp milk
- Sugar to sprinkle as required
CHOCOLATE CREAM
- 1/4 Unsalted butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp milk
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
METHOD
Take maida + baking powder + cocoa pwdr and sieve it together twice and keep aside .
Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
Take butter in a bowl and beat till light and fluffy . [ use a electric beater or hand whisk ]
Add sugar and beat again for 1 or 2 mins till creamy.
Add the sieved flour + essence and mix well with clean hands ..
Add few drops of milk at a time and knead to a smooth pliable dough . [ don’t apply pressure while kneading ]
Roll it between parchment paper till it is 2 cm thick.
Cut into strips like bourbon biscuits.
Arrange in a tray lined with parchment paper.
Prick with fork, sprinkle sugar all over the cookies on half of the cookies.
Bake it in the oven for 15 mins. Remove it and cool it down.
FILLING THE BISCUITS
Now make the filling, take all ingredients in a blender and blend till creamy.
Take cookies, spread filling on one side, top with other cookie.
STORE IN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER .
