HOMEMADE COLOURED SUGAR SPRINKLERS

INGREDIENTS
Granulated Sugar – ¼ cup
Gel based food colour or Liquid Food colors – few drops
NOTE – If using food colour powder then add drop of water in the food colour and use ..
METHOD
Take sugar in a container or zip lock pouch .
Pour just 2 drops of any food colour either red,yellow or green in the container / ziplock bags.
Shake the container well.
Shake it well so that the colors are evenly distributed,shake and keep mixing until the colors are evenly mixed.
Spread it over a foil piece with a fork so that it forms a thin layer.
Dry it up for a day under the fan . [ not sun ]
OR
Bake at 100 deg c in preheated oven for 5 – 7 mins.allow it cool down for completely . Baking ensure drying up and also gives a glitter to the sugar
Store in a clean airtight box.
Sprinkle it on cake pops, truffles cookie, other homemade candies etc .
