KIWI POPSICLE

INGREDIENTS

  • Kiwi fruit – 4
  • Sugar – ½ cup or more or as per taste [also depends on the sweetness and taste  of the fruit ]
  • Lime juice – ½ or 1  tbsp
  • Water – ½ cup [ boiled and cooled ]

METHOD

Powder the sugar .

Peel the kiwi and chop it roughly .

Blend kiwi + sugar + lime juice into a smooth puree on low speed  . [ just pulse beat it ,so that the seeds don’t get grinded else it will give a bitter taste ]

No need of straining the puree.

Pour the juice in the popsicle mould , cover and freeze overnight or min 8 hrs.

Once done , either soak the mould in water for few seconds or keep under running tap for few secs.

Demould the ice candy and serve it .

NOTES

  1. You can add little green food colour.
  2. Instead of water , you can use any juice like pineapple /orange for double flavour – adjust sugar accordingly .
  3. U can add zest of 1 lime .
  4. Y not replace sugar with honey.
  5. While pouring in the mould ,you can add few small pieces of the kiwi or any other fruits to add colour to ur popsicle .
