Mango ice-cream recipe
MANGO ICE CREAM
INGREDIENTS
- Mango – 1 big alphonso mango
- Fresh cream – 1 cup
- Sugar – few tbsp. depending upon the sweetness of fruit
- Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
METHOD
Peel , chop and blend the mangoes into fine puree together with sugar.
Strain it and keep aside.
Beat the cream till soft peaks are formed.
Add vanilla essence and again beat for a minute.
Add the mango pulp and mix it with a spoon or spatula till it blends together completely.
Pour it in a container and freeze it.
Once it hardens ,again remove,break it into small pieces and whip it with the beater for 1 minute.
Again pour it in a container and freeze it till it sets.
Scoop it and serve .
NOTES
- Use mangoes without fibres like alphonso / kesar.
- I used tropolite fresh cream so there was no need to add sugar.
- Adjust sugar as per your taste.
- Whip the cream well but don’t over whip
- If you don’t have a beater use a mixer.
