Masala french toast recipe
MASALA FRENCH TOAST RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Bread slices – 6
- Egg at room temperature – 2
- Milk – ½ cup
- Salt as per taste
- Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Mixed herbs or oregano – 1 tsp
- Pepper pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Ghee or butter or oil to toast
METHOD
Beat the egg till fluffy using a blender .
Add salt + milk + chilli flakes + pepper pwdr + herbs and blend well till frothy.
Heat a non stick pan or tawa.
Drizzle little ghee on it.
Dip each slice into the egg mixture till it is coated well on both the sides.[don’t soak it ]
Place it on the hot tawa and toast it on both sides till golden brown.
Remove from tava .
Serve hot with any sauce .
NOTES
For indian taste you can add finely chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves ,capsicum etc
