Spring onion with besan recipe
SPRING ONION WITH BESAN
INGREDIENTS
Spring onion – 1 bunch
Oil – ½ tbsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Jeera – ¼ tsp
Green chilli –
Besan – 2 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Lemon juice
PREPARATION
- Finely chop the spring onions.[leaves +onions]
- Roast the besan on low flame till you get nice aroma and colour doesn’t change.
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds + jeera , let it splutter.
Add the chopped spring onion + green chilli.
Mix well and add salt .
Stir fry for 2 minutes.
Add the besan and mix well.
Stir and cook for a minutes and off the flame.
Drizzle few drops of lemon juice and mix well.
NOTES
- Add the besan little by little or lump will form.
- After adding besan be careful it can burn.
- Instead of green chilli you can add chilli pwdr .
- You can also add little garam masala.
- If the dish becomes fry .you can sprinkle little water while cooking.
