BOILED GRAPE JUICE

Boiled grape juice can be preserve in fridge even for a weeks time with all the goodness of grapes without any preservatives. It is an all seasonal health drink,made of fresh grape pulp.
Grape juice reduces bad cholesterol, helps maintain healthy blood pressure, prevents damage to blood vessels in your heart, and reduces the risk of blood clots.
Taking grapes or its juice recipe on a daily basis will help increase potassium in the body that helps keep away problems like heart stroke and prevent loss of muscle mass and bone mineral density among other benefits.
INGREDIENTS
- Black / red grapes – 3 cups
- Water – 1 cup
- Sugar – 2 tbsp or as required
OTHER OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS
- Ginger – 1 small piece
- Fresh mint leaves – ½ cup
- Roasted jeera pwdr – ½ tsp
- Black salt – ¼ tsp
- Chaat masala – ½ tsp
METHOD
Pluck all the grapes off their stem, soak them in water for 10 minutes, then wash them well to get of all the dirt and pesticides off.
Transfer to a cooker or open pot .
Add water + sugar .
Pressure cook for 2 whistles or cook in open pot for 10 to 15 mins on low flame .
Allow to cool .
Transfer to juicer or mixie jar .
Add ginger + mint leaves + all the other spices and blend well .
Strain it .
Refrigerate and serve chilled .
– Sugar quantity depend on the sweetness/tartness and ripeness of your grapes and your taste preference .
