Bread pocket recipe
BREAD POCKETS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Big white bread – 12 slices
- Beaten egg – 1
- Bread crumbs – ½ cup
- Oil for deep fry or shallow fry
METHOD
Take 2 slices of bread one on top of the other ,roll it with a rolling pin so that they join together.
With a help of cookie cutter or any circle mould cut the slices in disc .[circle as shown in pics ]
Take the joined bread together , dip it in the beaten egg and then coat it with bread crumbs.
Repeat the same with all slices.
Here if time permits you can refrigerate for sometime or fry it immediately.
Fry it till golden brown on both sides.[medium flame ,not low flame]
Let it cool .
Cut it from the centre and try to open the middle portion with the help of fingers.
Bread pockets are ready.
Fill in any veg or non veg filling and serve with any dips, sauce or chutney.
