This is a vegetarian version of very popular Surti Egg Dish “Egg Ghotala” This ghotala or gotala taste amazing with dosa or Pav / Bread. Here I have replaced egg .
Cheesy Paneer is a delicious delicacy mixed with the creaminess of cheese and cream . Cheese is loved especially by children and serving it with paneer makes it healthier. This mouth-watering delicacy is high in protein and calcium making your muscles and bones stronger.
We can serve as a side dish with roti or naan. This gravy gives the dish an irresistible aroma. Cheesy Paneer with its tender and creamy flavours will melt in your mouth like a dream.
You don’t need to go shopping for a huge list of ingredients for this simple recipe. If you don’t have paneer at home, you can even make it yourself – recipe given below . Experiment with paneer by following this easy recipe and make your meal tastier than ever before.
Super rich in protein, having paneer for breakfast makes you feel full for longer. It gets digested slowly and increases the amount of feeling full hormones like GLP-1, PYY and CCK. Apart from protein, paneer is also rich in fat, iron, calcium and magnesium, which makes it an even healthier choice.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grms paneer small cubes
- 2 or 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder
- 1 tbsp ginger + green chilly paste
- ¼ cup minced regular garlic or green garlic
- 2 finely chopped onion
- ½ cup finely chopped coriander
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- ½ cup curd
- 1/4 tsp turmeric [ optional ]
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp kitchen king masala
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 3 grated cheese cubes
- 1 cup water or as required
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup fresh cream
- 1 tsp kasoori methi
- lemon juice as required while serving
