SIMPLE PANEER STIR FRY IN CHINESE SAUCE

Simple paneer stir fry

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer cubes – 200 gms
  • Onion sliced -1
  • Tomato deseeded and sliced – 1
  • Capsicum sliced – 1 [ mixed colours ]
  • Red chilli pwdr  – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala / garam masala – 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli sauce – 1 tbsp or as per taste
  • Soya sauce – ½ tbsp
  • Tomato sauce or ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Olive oil or regular oil – 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped spring onion green or coriander leaves for garnish

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan .

Add the onions and saute till translucent.

Add capsicum and stir fry till half cooked. [it should be crunchy and not soft]

Add tomato and fry for sometime .[ should not become mushy ]

Add red chilli pwdr + coriander pwdr + garam masala pwdr + salt and fry .

Add the paneer and mix well gently .

Add all the 3 sauces  and mix well.

Cook for few seconds and off the flame.

Garnish with coriander leaves /spring onions .

Serve hot.

NOTES

  1. U can use  colourful bell peppers to make it.
  2. Instead of slicing onion and capsicum lengthwise, you can dice it.
  3. You can fry the paneer and then add .
  4. I have used fresh malai paneer ,it tastes better without frying.
  5. Instead of paneer you can add try with boneless chicken /egg /mushroom /baby corn etc.
  6. For gravy you can add 1 cup water + cornflour solution [2 tbsp cornflour mixed with water] and cook till the gravy becomes shiny.
  7. Sauces + masala pwdr can be adjusted as per taste.
