Corn masala recipe
CORN MASALA RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Corn kernels – 2 cup
- Butter – 1 ½ tbsp.
- Pepper pwdr – ½ tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Chaat masala – ½ tsp
- Chilli pwdr – ½ tsp or as per atse
- Very finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbsp or more
- Lemon juice – 1 ½ tsp
- Black salt – 2 pinch
PREPARATION
Pressure cook the corn kernels upto 2- 3 whistles with little salt .
OR
Boil it for 10 minutes.
OR
Microwave it.
OR
If you ar using the corn cob then pressure cook the whole cob upto 4 whistes .Allow it cool.Try removing the corn by hand or take a shap knife and run the knife around the cob.
METHOD -1
Take the hot cooked corn kernels in a bowl.
Add all the other ingredients and mix well.
Serve it hot.
METHOD – 2
Heat butter in a pan on low flame.
Add the corn and stir well.
Add all the masalas except lemon juice and coriander leaves.
Stir fry for 1 min and off the flame.
Drizzle the lemon juice and sprinkle the coriander leaves and mix well.
METHOD – 3
Mix all the ingredients and microwave it.
NOTES
- Adjust masalas as per your taste.
- Fresh corn taste better than canned corn.
