Dominos stuffed garlic bread recipe
DOMINOS STUFFED GARLIC BREAD
INGREDIENTS
- Maida/Refined flour – 2 cups
- Garlic cloves grated or crushed – 8
- Active dry yeast – 1.5 tsp
- Warm water – 3/4 cup
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Melted butter – 2 tbsp
- Corn meal or rava – 2 tbsp
- Mixed Herbs or oregano – 1 tbsp
INGREDIENTS FOR THE STUFFING
- Boiled corn – 1/2 cup
- chopped capsicum / jalepenos – 1/2 cup
- Grated mozrella / cheddar cheese – 3/4 cup
- Herbs and salt to taste
PREPARATION
- Mix all the ingredients under stuffing for the filling.
- Mix 1 tbsp of butter +1 tbsp of crushed garlic and keep aside OR We can just use plain butter for brushing .
METHOD
Take warm water + sugar + yeast in a mixing bowl .
Cover and keep it aside for 15 minutes for the yeast to activate.
After 15 minutes , the yeast will be foamy.
Take flour + salt + crushed garlic + yeast mixture and start kneading.
Add oil and knead for a few minutes.
Now the dough will be soft and sticky.
Grease a bowl with some oil and keep the dough in it covered for 2-3 hours or even overnight in the fridge.
The dough doubles in quantity.
Now again take the dough and knead it for 5 minutes .
Add the herbs or oregano and knead.
If you feel it is very sticky that you are not able to roll, then you can add little flour and knead it well into a soft dough.
Preheat oven at 200 degrees C for 10 mins.
Grease a baking tray with butter .
Grease the kitchen platform.
Divide the dough into 2 portions to get size like dominos or you can make 4 mini .
Sprinkle rava or corn meal on the kitchen platform and place the dough .
Take 1 portion and roll it into a very thick circle using your hands by moving it in circular motion into a thick circle . [it should not be thin]
Apply a layer of garlic butter all over.
Place in the filling as shown in the pic
Fold the circle into half .
Press the ends of the semi circle.
Gently lift it and place on the baking tray .
Make dents with a cutter. [Don’t cut through fully ]
Brush the surface with butter and sprinkle with herbs.
Bake it at 200 * C for 15 to 20 minutes or till it is golden brown .
Cut and Serve hot with any of your favourite dips.

NOTES
- Baking time varies according to the oven time. Keep checking once in a while so that your bread is not overcooked or undercooked.
- If the yeast doesn’t becomes frothy it means your bread will not rise and will not be soft .redo the process of the yeast.
- More the kneading better the result . Atleast knead for 8-10 mins.
- In microwave convection mode, the crust does’nt brown well and when you increase the baking time to get dark crust the bread hardens so be careful.
- You can take mixed flour – wheat flour + maida, texture may be different after baking .
- If the dough is very sticky add little more flour and knead and if the dough is hard [not very soft ,then sprinkle little water or milk and knead it into a soft dough.
- While kneading you can use half milk and half water.
