INSTANT AMBA MAVA / HOW TO MAKE MANGO MAVA

INGREDIENTS

  • Mango of good quality – 2 cup [ Alphonso ]
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Milk powder – 1 cup

METHOD

Peel the mangoes and blend into fine puree . { don’t add any water ]

Strain it .

Transfer to a pan .

Add milk powder + sugar and mix well

Now keep on medium flame and cook till it thickens and comes to the consistency of mava .

Allow to cool .

Amba mava is ready to be used .

Refrigerate and use upto 6 mnths .

INSTANT AMBA MAVA – ready to use in making any mango flavoured sweets or dessert .

HOW TO MAKE SWEETS USING AAMBA MAVA

  1. MANGO MILK POWDER BURFI – Take ¼ cup of aamba mava , mix 1 cup milk powder and mix well . Give desired shape and serve .
  • MANGO BASUNDI – Add as needed to regular basundi recipe
  • MANGO COCONUT BURFI – Mix in dessicated coconut .
  • MANGO VADI
