INSTANT AMBA MAVA / HOW TO MAKE MANGO MAVA

INGREDIENTS
- Mango of good quality – 2 cup [ Alphonso ]
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Milk powder – 1 cup
METHOD
Peel the mangoes and blend into fine puree . { don’t add any water ]
Strain it .
Transfer to a pan .
Add milk powder + sugar and mix well
Now keep on medium flame and cook till it thickens and comes to the consistency of mava .
Allow to cool .
Amba mava is ready to be used .
Refrigerate and use upto 6 mnths .
HOW TO MAKE SWEETS USING AAMBA MAVA
- MANGO MILK POWDER BURFI – Take ¼ cup of aamba mava , mix 1 cup milk powder and mix well . Give desired shape and serve .
- MANGO BASUNDI – Add as needed to regular basundi recipe
- MANGO COCONUT BURFI – Mix in dessicated coconut .
