INGREDIENTS

  • Boneless chicken [ breast part ] – 250 gms
  • Pepper pwdr – 1 tsp or as required
  • Egg – 1
  • Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Corn flour – 1 tbsp
  • Maida / APF – 1 cup
  • Chilli pwdr – 1 tbsp
  • Oil to deep fry

PREPARATION

  1. Clean ,wash ,rinse and pat dry the chicken. Chop it into very small bite size chunks.
  2. Make a mixture of maida + little salt + chilli pwdr for dry coating.

METHOD

Take the chicken pieces in a bowl ,add pepper pwdr + salt + soya sauce + egg + corn flour and mix very well .

Heat oil in a pan.

Take each chicken pieces and roll it in the maida mixture . [ coat it generously with the flour ]

Shake the coated chicken to remove the excess flour.

Slide each coated chicken pieces in the pan and deep fry on medium heat .[don’t over crowd the pan while frying ]

Fry it by turning on all sides till crisp on all sides .[ 8 – 10 mins depending on the size of the chicken pieces ]

Strain and remove on a absorbent paper.

Serve hot with any sauces or dips of your choice.

NOTES

  1. Chicken should be chopped in marble size .If u see in KFC the chicken is very very less,it is more of flour .
  2. Dust of the excess flour ,or the oil will become cloudy.
  3. Instead of chilli pwdr ,you can add pepper pwdr or mixed herbs or oregano to the maida.
  4. You can also use plain flour without chilli pwdr ,just little salt.
  5. You can marinate the chicken with Indian masalas like tikka masala for variation .
  6. You can also double coat the chicken with the flour.
  7. The same recipe you can try with chicken wings  /legs /strips.
  8. Y not try this recipe with paneer ,instead of egg we can use more cornflour .
