SPICED CARROT / BEETROOT CUP CAKE

SPICED CARROT / BEETROOT CUP CAKE

INGREDIENTS [ 1 CUP – 250 ML ]

  • Flour – 1/2 Cup
  • Corn Flour – 1/2 TSP
  • Baking Powder – 1/2 TSP
  • Baking Soda – 1/8 TSP
  • Salt – A pinch
  • Vegetable Oil – 2 TBSP
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Milk – 2 TBSP (As per requirement)
  • Vinegar – 1/2 TSP
  • Sugar powder – 6 or 7 tbsp
  • Grated Carrot / beetroot – 2 TBSP
  • Chili Flakes – ½ TSP As per requirement
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/8 tsp
  • Orange / red food Colour – 1 or 2  Drops [ optional ]
SPICED CARROT / BEETROOT CUP CAKE

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Sieve twice all dry ingredients [  flour + corn flour + baking pwdr + baking soda + salt ]in a bowl

Mix all wet ingredients (Powder Sugar, Oil / Butter, Curd, Orange Colour) in another bowl.

SPICED CARROT / BEETROOT CUP CAKE

Mix the dry ingredients with wet ingredients .

Add milk according to the required consistency of the batter

Pour the batter in Cup Cake mould up to ¾ level

Place the mould with better in the pre-heated oven for 15 to 20 mins at 180 * C

Check after 15 mins .
