Watermelon popsicle
WATERMELON ICE CANDY
INGREDIENTS
- Water melon – ½
- Sugar – 2 or 3 tbsp depending on the sweetness of the fruit
- Ice candy moulds
METHOD
Peel and chop the watermelon into small cubes.
Blend it with sugar .
Strain the juice and pour in the moulds.
Freeze it for minimum 8 hrs or overnight.
Once done keep the mould under running tap for few seconds to release it easily.
Demould the ice candy and serve it .
NOTES
- While blending ,pulse beat it or blend on low speed ,so that the seeds don’t get grinded.
- Don’t reduce sugar.
- Avoid the seeds.
- You can also add lemon juice.
- Don’t add water while blending.
- You can also add few small pieces of watermelon while freezing .
