Homemade amul fresh cream
HOW TO MAKE AMUL FRESH CREAM AT HOME
INGREDIENTS
- Milk – 1 cup full fat cream
- 1 tbsp corn flour mixed with 2 tbsp milk
- Sugar – ¼ tsp
- Butter – ½ or 1 tsp
- Chiiled bowl and chilled whisk /beater blade
METHOD
Take I cup milk in a pan , Add cornflour mixture to it and mix well.
Now put on flame .
Cook on medium flame till the mixture thickens, keep stirring continuously .[ 2 mins]
Lower the flame and add butter .
Stir and cook till butter melts.
Once the butter melts , off the flame .
Allow to cool .
Once it cools down , refrigerate for 20 mins till it sets .
Allow to cool and transfer to chilled bowl .
Beat it for just 30 seconds to 1 minute .
*We can use a fork or hand whisk or pulse beat in mixie also
NOTES
- Instead of cornflour we can use maida.
- Instead of butter we can use homemade ghee
- We can store upto 1 week in fridge.
VARIATION
The malai layer which we collect in fridge can be aslo used for making fresh cream .
Pass the collected malai through a strainer .
The liquid collected after the straining ,transfer to a chilled bowl and beat it.
