Murg malai gravy recipe
CHICKEN COOKED IN CASHEW AND FRESH CREAM / MURG MALAI GRAVY / CHICKEN TIKKA WHITE GRAVY
INGREDIENTS
- Malai chicken – made from 500 gms [refer here for the recipe –https://maryzkitchen.com/chicken-reshmi-kebab/ ]
- Oil + ghee – 1 tbsp
- Onion – Paste made from 2 medium onions
- Few whole garam masala – cinnamom ,cardamom ,bay leaves, sai jeera ,black pepper, clove
- Ginger+ garlic +green chilli paste – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala pwdr – ½ tsp
- Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
- Cashew paste – 2 tbsp
- Fresh beaten curd – 1/4 cup [not sour]
- Salt as per taste
- Kasoori methi – 1 tsp
- Amul fresh cream – 3 0r 4 tbsp or more
METHOD
Heat oil + ghee in a pan .
Add the whole garam masala and let it splutter.
Add the onion+ ginger +garlic +chilli paste.
Cook till oil separates
Add garam masala pwdr and fry till raw smell leaves.
Add the cashew paste + chaat masala and fry for few seconds stirring continuously
Now add the beaten curd and cook for few seconds keep stirring .
Now add the chicken and mix well.
Add the fresh cream and mix well .
Let it simmer on low flame for a minute.
Sprinkle kasoori methi pwdr.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve it with naan , roti, pav , jeera rice
NOTES
- Add more cream for richness of the gravy.
