Paneer sandwich
PANEER SANDWICH
INGREDIENTS
- Bread slices as required
- Scrambled paneer – 1 cup
- Butter
- Onion very finely chopped – ¼ cup
- Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Cheese grated – 1 cube
- Chilli flakes – 1 tsp or as per taste
- Mixed herbs / oregano – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION

Scramble it . [scrambled texture is better than grating ]
METHOD
Make a mixture of paneer + cheese + oregano + chilli flakes + salt + coriander leaves + onion.
**** add onions while making the sandwich as onions leave water. [sweat ]
Take bread slices ,apply butter on one side of all bread.
Spread the paneer mixture on one slice and cover it with other bread slice .
Toast it in a toaster or toast it on a tava till crispy and golden.
Serve hot with green chutney and ketchup.
While serving ,garnish with grated cheese + chaat masala.
VARIATIONS – You can give many variations to the paneer sandwich.
- You can stuff paneer burji and toast.
- You can a make a mixture of paneer + chilli pwdr + chaat masala + coriander leaves etc.
- You can add spices and masalas of your choice.
- Just like regular sandwich we can stuff onion ,tomato cucumber slices and a layer of paneer mixture.
NOTES
- Kids love the above recipe of mixture of paneer + cheese + oregano + chilli flakes + salt + coriander leaves + onion .
- Instead of chilli flakes, add pepper pwdr for little ones.
- If you want you can apply a layer of green chutney .
- For more taste add finely chopped capsicum.
- I don’t have a toaster so toasted on a tava.
