Sooji paneer nuggets recipe
SOOJI PANEER NUGGETS WITHOUT POTATO / PANEER RAVA NUGGETS
INGREDIENTS
- Paneer crumbled – 1 cup
- Coarse rava not very fine – 4 or 5 tbsp
- Cheese – 1 cube grated
- Milk – 1 cup
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Onion finely chopped – 1 small
- Coriander leaves finely chopped – 2 tbsp
- Green chilli finely chopped – 1 or 2 [avoid if making for kids]
- Pepper pwdr – ½ tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Milk – 4 tbsp
- Maida – 3 tbsp
- Bread crumbs for coating
- Oil for deep or shallow frying
METHOD
Heat a non – stick pan on medium low flame.
Add milk + rava + paneer + salt + oil + pepper pwdr.
Stir on low flame for 2 mins.
Add onion + coriander leaves + green chilli and mix well.
Again stir and cook for 2 mins till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Off the flame.
Grease the kitchen platform or any tray with oil .
Spread this mixture over it in a square or rectangle shape with ½ inch thickness.
Allow it cool for 2 hrs.
Once it cools cut it into any shapes.
If you have time , refrigerate it for sometime or go ahead with the next procedure.
Make a mixture of 1/3 cup milk and maida.
Dip each nuggets in the maida batter and roll it in the bread crumbs till it is completely coated from all sides.
Again if time provide refrigerate for sometime.
Either shallow fry or deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
Serve with any sauces ,dips or chutneys.
NOTES
- Keep all ingredients ready before you start.
- You can also use finely chopped veges of your choice and make veg nuggets.
- You can add spice of your choice.
- Non vegetarians can use cood finely chopped or shredded chicken.
