GRILLED HERB PANEER

Super rich in protein, having paneer for breakfast makes you feel full for longer. It gets digested slowly and increases the amount of feeling full hormones like GLP-1, PYY and CCK. Apart from protein, paneer is also rich in fat, iron, calcium and magnesium, which makes it an even healthier choice.

Paneer has a good mix of nutrients, which makes it a perfect choice for weight watchers and helps you stay active throughout the day. You can include 150-200 grams in your breakfast to start your day on a healthy note.

Our body needs calcium to keep our teeth strong and bones healthy. Paneer has a decent amount of calcium, which makes it good for our bones and teeth.

Increasing our protein consumption is the first thing that comes to our mind when we decide to lose weight. By keeping us full for longer and thus stopping us from binge eating, paneer is the best choice for vegetarians trying to lose weight.

Paneer is good for people suffering from diabetes. It is rich in omega 3, which is good for the mental development of kids. It is also beneficial for people suffering from heart diseases as paneer regulates blood pressure and controls cholesterol levels

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer – 250 grms
  • Mixed herbs / oregano – 1 tsp
  • Chilli flakes – ½ tsp or as per taste
  • Finely minced garlic – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

PREPARATION

Make a  mixture of all the above ingredients  .

Apply the marinade all over on the paneer cubes  .

Keep aside for minimum 30 mins or more in fridge .

METHOD

Heat a grill pan on medium flame  .

Arrange the marinated paneer on it .

Cook on each side for 2 to 3 mins .

Once done arrange on serving plate and serve with sauce or dips of your choice .
