                                                                                         EGG CHAAT RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Hard Boiled eggs – 2
  • Very Finely chopped onion – 1 small
  • Tomato deseeded and chopped finely – ½
  • Pepper pwdr as required
  • Chaat masala as required
  • Chilli pwdr as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Very finely chopped coriander leaves.

METHOD

Remove the shells of the egg , wash it and slice each egg into 4 or 6  or 8 pieces lengthwise . [ be careful as the yolk will stick to the knife ]

Arrange the egg pieces on a plate .

Sprinkle the pepper pwdr + chaat masala + chilli pwdr + Salt .

Sprinkle the onion + tomato + coriander leaves .

Egg chaat is ready to serve .

NOTES

  1. You can also drizzle lemon juice .
  2. You can also add finely chopped green chilli .
  3. While slicing the egg if the yolk sticks to the knife then dip the knife in cold water .
  4. Like regular chaat you can also garnish with fine sev.
  5. This recipe is famous in the roadside egg stalls.
