Paneer mushroom stir fry recipe

                                                                    INSTANT PANEER STIR FRY

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer cubes – 200 gms
  • Onion sliced -1
  • Capsicum sliced -1 [mixed colours ]
  • Mushroom chopped – 1 cup
  • Red chilli sauce – 1 tbsp or as per taste
  • Soya sauce – ½ tbsp
  • Tomato sauce or ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Olive oil or regular oil – 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped spring onion green or coriander leaves for garnish

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan .

Add the onions and saute till translucent.

Add mushroom and fry till it sweats and complete water evaporates.

Add capsicum and stir fry till half cooked.[it should be crunchy and not soft]

Add all the 3 sauces + salt and mix well.

Add the paneer and give a stir till the paneer is completely coated with the sauces.

Cook for few seconds and off the flame.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot.

NOTES

  1. I have used colourful bell peppers to make it.
  2. Instead of slicing onion and capsicum , you can dice it.
  3. Mushroom is optional. You can fry it separately and then add it .
  4. You can fry the paneer .
  5. I have used fresh malai paneer ,it tastes better without frying.
  6. Instead of paneer you can add fried boneless chicken.
  7. You can add broccoli , baby corn ,corn.
  8. Instead of sauces you can add Indian masalas.
  9. For gravy you can add 1 cup water + cornflour solution [2 tbsp cornflour mixed with water] and cook till the gravy becomes shiny.
  10. Sauces can be adjusted as per taste.
