Millets and cereals: 82% Ragi, Bajra, Corn, Jowar, Wheat, Red rice, Barley Pulses: Fried gram, Green gram. Sago, Groundnut, Cardamom, Almonds, Cashewnuts 100% Nature and Organic

Here i have taken 1/4 cup water

MANNA HEALTH MIX BURFI / HEALTHY BURFIS

INGREDIENTS

  • Manna flour – 2 cup
  • Grated jaggery – 1 cup
  • Water – 1/2 cup [ 1/4 cup water ofr dry burfis and 1/2 cup water for moist burfis ]
  • Ghee – ½ cup
LADOO SHAPE

PREPARATION

  1. Dry roast  flour for on low flame till aromatic .Colour should not change and don’t burn it .
  2. Grease a tray .
Here I have given modak shape

METHOD

Heat jaggery + water in a pan .

Boil it till it thickens . [Don’t over cook string consistency not required]

Add ghee to the syrup  and mix well .

Add the flour mixture to the jaggery syrup and mix well .

Mix well .

immediately transfer the mixture to the grease tray and spread it .

Use a flat spatula and press well from all sides.

Spread some chopped nuts / poppy seeds all over and press again .

Slice into desired shapes and allow to cool .

after the burfis cool down well and maintains shape , remove it .

Healthy burfis are ready to serve .

Store in airtight container .

NOTES

  1. Instead of jaggery we can use sugar.
  2. The more the ghee ,more the soft burfis .
  3. If the mixture is dry ,u can use little warm milk to give moisture .
