METHOD 2 Using idli rava [ rice rava ]

Here we use 1 cup idli rava .

Just grind jackfruit, jaggery and coconut .

Mix in the idli rava .{ adjust water as needed – not much  ]

Keep the batter aside for 30 mins

The batter is ready .

NOTE –

  1. First grind rice and then grind it with ripe jackfruit Or else the rice grains may not breakdown as easily as the jackfruit does.
  2. The more jackfruit you add to the batter, the better your idlis will taste in the end.
  3. Adjust the amount of jaggery you add according to your taste, depending on how sweet the jackfruits are
  4. The more jaggery you use, the more watery your batter gets. So be careful.
