BURGER RECIPE 

INGREDIENTS

  • Cutlets / tikkis as required – veg or non veg
  • Burger bun – recipe – EGGLESS SUPER SOFT BURGER BUNS
  • Tomato slice
  • Onion rings
  • Tomato ketchup /sauce
  • Chilli sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Veeba mustard sauce [ optional ]
  • Cheese slice [optional ]

PREPARATION

Make tikkis /cutles of your choice .

METHOD

Slice the bun from middle .

Toast it on a hot pan .

Top the base with mustard sauce / mayo and spread it .

Now place few torn lettuce .

Place the cheese slice .

Now keep then hot or warm tikki /cutlet over it .[the cheese will melt ]

Again spread a layer of mayo  .

Place the onion rings and tomato .

Drizzle the chilli sauce .

Cover it with the top part of the bun and press it gently.

Serve burger with finger fries / wafers  / ketchup.

VARIATION

For aloo tikki burger – take 2 cup mashed potato + 1/4 cup boiled and slightly mashed green peas + 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste + 1/4 tsp cumin pwdr + finely chopped green chilli + salt in a mixing bowl and mix well . Make small tikkis . Dip in corn flour or maida slurry .Roll the tikkis in bread crumbs . Now deep fry . Shallow fry or bake the tikkis till golden and crisp .

NOTES

  1. I like using veeba dips – tastes awesome with 1000 island dip Or mustard sauce.
  2. I have not given the quantity of ingredients – use as you require .
  3. Placing of ingredients can be placed in any order .
  4. Instead of making tikkis ar home ,you can buy store bought MC CAIN aloo tikkis .
