CHEESE CORN PARATHA
INGREDIENTS FOR THE STUFFING
- Mashed potato – 2 cup
- Crushed boiled corn – 1 ½ cup
- Grated cheese – 3 or 4 cubes or more
- Finely chopped coriander leaves – 3 to 4 tbsp
- Chilli flakes – as required
- Pepper pwdr – as required
- Oregano /mixed herbs / pizza masala – as required
- Salt as per tastes
- Oil or ghee as needed
METHOD
Coarsely grind the corn in mixie.
Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. The stuffing is ready.
INGREDIENTS FOR THE DOUGH
- Wheat flour – 2 cup
- Oil to knead the dough – 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
METHOD
Mix wheat flour + salt + oil + water and make a soft dough and keep aside for sometime.
MAKING OF PARATHA
Divide the dough into equal balls.
Roll the dough into small circle and place enough of corn mixture in the centre..
Bring the edges of the dough together in the centre and pinch it.
Flatten this ball and roll into thick parathas by dusting dry flour.
Heat the tava or non stick pan.
Place the paratha on it .
Fry on both sides by drizzling little ghee or oil.
While frying press it with a spatula.
Once done remove it.
Serve hot with ketchup or home made butter , curd, pickle, onion or sweet chutney and green chutney.
