MASALA  MACARONI RECIPE 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup macaroni [ elbow shaped or any shape ]
  • 1 very finely chopped onions
  • Tomato puree of 1 big tomato
  • ½ tsp chilli pwdr or as per taste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric pwdr
  • 1 ½  tbsp tomato ketchup
  • sugar – 1/2 tsp
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp very finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

PREPARATION

Cook macaroni in boiling water with salt . Cook for 7 – 9 minutes till done .

Drain the water and keep aside. Don’t overcook it. It should be firm and not mushy. [follow the instruction given on the packet]

METHOD 

Take oil in a pan on medium flame.

Add the onions and fry till translucent.

Add  chilli pwdr + garam masala pwdr + turmeric pwdr  + salt.

Add the tomato puree + salt and cook till oil separates.

Add the tomato sauce + sugar and mix well.

Add 1/4 cup water and bring to a boil .

Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

Add the boiled macaroni and cook for 1 – 2 minutes till it is coated well with the masala

Remove from flame .

Serve hot .
