LOBSTER FRY
LOBSTER FRY
Lobsters are a great source of selenium and also contain omega-3 fatty acids. They can help protect against thyroid disease, depression, and anemia. Lobster can serve as the main source of protein in a meal.
INGREDIENTS
- Lobster – 3 or 4 medium
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp or as per taste
- Garam masala pwdr – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Besan – 1 tsp for binding
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry
METHOD
Shell the lobster as shown in the video.
Clean ,wash , rinse and pat dry it .
Its important to pat dry the fish so that the masalas stick to it .
Make a marination of chilli pwdr + turmeric + garam masala + lemon juice + ginger garlic paste + besan + salt and mix well.
Drizzle water as needed to make a thick marinade.
Apply the marinade all over the lobster and keep aside for minimum 15 mins.
Heat oil in a pan.
Place the marinated lobster and cook for 3 to 4 mins on each side.
Don’t over cook , it takes less time to cook lobster.
Cooking time depends the size of lobster .
Once done remove and serve .
NOTES
- Before frying you can either coat it with semolina , breadcrumbs or rice-flour its gives a crispy crust and inside it would be tender.
- Before marinating the fish its important to pat dry the fish else the masalas will not stick to the fish well.
