LOBSTER FRY

Lobsters are a great source of selenium and also contain omega-3 fatty acids. They can help protect against thyroid disease, depression, and anemia. Lobster can serve as the main source of protein in a meal. 

INGREDIENTS

  • Lobster – 3 or 4 medium
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Garam masala pwdr – ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Besan – 1 tsp for binding
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

METHOD

Shell the lobster as shown in the video.

Clean ,wash , rinse and pat dry it .

Its important to pat dry the fish so that the masalas stick to it .

Make a marination of chilli pwdr + turmeric + garam masala + lemon juice + ginger garlic paste  + besan + salt and mix well.

Drizzle water as needed to make a thick marinade.

Apply the marinade all over the lobster and keep aside for minimum 15 mins.

Heat oil in a pan.

Place the marinated lobster and cook for 3 to 4 mins on each side.

Don’t over cook , it takes less time to cook lobster.

Cooking time depends the size of lobster .

Once done remove and serve .

NOTES

  1. Before frying you can either coat it with semolina , breadcrumbs or rice-flour its gives a crispy crust and inside it would be tender.
  2. Before marinating the fish its important to pat dry the fish else  the masalas will not stick to the fish well.
