POMEGRANATE JUICE

POMEGRANATE JUICE

INGREDIENTS

  • Pomegranate seeds – 2 cup
  • Chilled water –
  • Sugar as required
POMEGRANATE JUICE

PREPARATION

  1. Cut the pomegranate from top to remove the crown.
  2. Now make many slits [shallow ones not deep ] close to each other on the outer skin from top to bottom.
  3. Tear apart each slits.
  4. Now gently remove all the seeds .

METHOD

Take all the 3 ingredients in a mixie jar.

Now pulse it with a gap of  1 or 2 seconds not more .

Be careful the seeds should not be grounded else it will make the juice bitter .

***** we don’t have to grind it .

Pulse it till the outer flesh separates from seeds.

Remove and strain the juice to discard the seeds.

Squeeze well to extract all the juice.

Serve chilled in a serving glass.

You can sprinkle chaat masala or black salt while serving .

NOTES

  1. As we are adding water ,we have to add sugar.
  2. The juice tends to stain clothes be careful.
  3. One more way is – taking the seedsin a muslin cloth and squeezing it by pressing hard .
