GARLIC YOGURT SAUCE

Homemade garlic yogurt sauce is creamy, tangy, and very easy to make at home with few

INGREDIENTS.

  • 1 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice [ adjust as per taste depending on the sourness of curd]
  • 1 grated garlic clove [ add 1 or 2 depending on how strong flavour you want ]
  • Salt
  • 1 or 2 tbsp water [ needed to adjust the consistency of the sauce ]

METHOD

In a bowl, stir together the yogurt + olive oil + lemon juice + garlic + salt.

Stir in  1 OR 1 tbsp water , if the sauce is too thick, to thin it to your desired consistency.

Season to taste.

Store the sauce for up to 5 days in an airtight container in the fridge.

NOTES

  1. Add chopped cilantro, parsley, dill, basil, coriander leaves , mint leaves etc or a combination of two or more for a flavourful  sauce.
  2. Use it as a dressing for salads / sauce or dip .
  3. We can add pepper pwdr / chilli flakes .
  4. Adding 1 or 2 tbsp mayo gives a smooth dip .
