CRISPY PANEER 65

 INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer – 250 grms
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Coriander powder – ½  tsp
  • Jeera powder – ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala – ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cornflour – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice  – 1 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying

NOTE – DON’T USE MALAI PANEER , instead of using different masala powders , just use everest tandoori masala pwdr .

FINAL GARNISH

  • Slit green chilli few
  • Curry leaves few
  • Chaat masala

METHOD

Cut paneer into medium sized cubes.

Transfer to a bowl .

Add Ginger garlic paste + Chilli powder + Coriander powder + Jeera powder + Garam masala + Lemon juice + chaat masala + salt .

Mix well and keep aside for 15 mins .

Add cornflour and mix well . Drizzle few drops of water and mix .

Heat sufficient oil in a wok for deep frying.

As soon as the oil is hot drop in the paneer cubes and fry them well till they turn crisp.

Transfer the fried paneer pieces on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.

In the same oil add green chillies and stir fry for few seconds till curry leaves become crisp .

Add this over the fried paneer and toss it .

Sprinkle little chaat masala and serve hot  as a starter .
