KHAMBAT SPECIAL PAPAD NU CHAVDO
PAPAD NU CHAVANU | HOW TO MAKE KHAMBAT SPECIAL PAPAD NU CHAVDO | MURMURA PAPAD CHIVDA RECIPE/PAPAD CHURI /

Papad nu chavanu is made with a mix of roasted puffed rice, sev, and fried papad which is tempered with regular spices.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 grms puffed rice murmura
- 8 deep fried less spicy urad dal papad
- ½ cup fine sev
- 1/4 cup oil
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
INGREDIENTS FOR TEMPERING
- 2 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp asafoetida / hing
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp citric acid powder
- 2 tbsp red chilli powder
- 3 tbsp sugar pwdr
PREPARATION
Crush the deep fried papad and keep aside .
In a pan heat ¼ cup oil .
Once the oil is hot , lower the flame and add turmeric powder , mix well .
Now add the murmura and mix well.
Stir fry for 2 to 3 mins till crisp and off the flame .
Now add the fried murmuras over the crushed papad. Add sev all over .
Sprinkle 2 tbsp red chili powder on the top.[ don’t mix ]
METHOD [ tempering ]
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a small pan.
Once hot , off the flame .
Add asafoetida + turmeric powder + citric acid .
Mix well and pour it all over the fried murmura .
Give a nice toss and let it cool .
Add salt + sugar pwdr and mix well so that all combine together.
Once it cools down properly , store in an airtight container.
