HEALTHY PAPAYA SMOOTHIE

Smoothies are a great way to lose weight because they are made with unprocessed ingredients and can replace a high sugar, high fat or high calorie breakfast. This smoothie is made with just a few simple ingredients – papaya, banana, cucumber and coconut water.

 This smoothie is also a rich source of folate, vitamin B1-B6, vitamin E and K, copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and potassium. Papaya is an excellent source of powerful antioxidants and vitamin C and A.

Coconut can be replaced with plain water or green tea. Instead of coconutwater we can use milk like – almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, soy milk .

Cucumber can be replaced with any other fruit like orange ,pineapple , mango ,any berries

INGREDIENTS

  • Papaya peeled and chopped – 1 cup
  • Banana –  1
  • Cucumber peeled and chopped –  1 cup
  • Coconut water –  1 cup
  • Honey to taste [ optional ]

METHOD

Add all ingredients to blender.

Blend on high speed until smooth.

If very thick , add more coconut water.

Also we can add few ice cubes .

Pour into glasses and enjoy!
