SATTU DRY FRUITS PREMIX FOR PROTEIN

Sattu contains 20-25 grams of protein per 100 grams, making it the best and most valuable source for vegetarians and vegans.

Sattu, also called the poor man’s protein, is an inexpensive and equally effective substitute for your protein shakes. Sattu is basically flour made of roasted channa which makes it fibre and protein-rich.

INGREDIENTS

  • Sattu flour – 500 grms [ I  have used store bought flour ]
  • Mixed dry fruits – 250 grms [almonds/ cashew/flax seeds/chia seeds/makhana/walnut/pista /sunflower seeds /pumpkin seeds/ sesame seeds etc]
  • Cardamom as needed

METHOD

Dry roast each dry fruit one by one on medium flame for 2 or 3 mins .Don’t over roast.

Once done allow to cool and grind it with cardanmom.

Now mix in the sattu flour .

Store and use as needed.

HOW TO USE

Take 4 to 5 tbsp of the mix and blend with ½ cup milk + ½ cup water.

For sweetness we can add banana / honey / jaggery / dates syrup.
