AMRITSARI PANEER BURJI WITH BESAN

INGREDIENTS

  • Scramble paneer – 200 grms
  • Besan – 2 tsp
  • Milk – ¾ OR 1 cup
  • Butter – 2 or 3 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Onion finely chopped – 1 big
  • Green chilli finely chopped – 1
  • Capsicum finely chopped – 1 small [ optional ]
  • Tomato chopped – 1 big
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Pepper pwdr – ¼ tsp  
  • Kitchen king masala – 1 tsp or garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Kasoor methi – 1 tsp

METHOD

Heat oil + butter in a pan .

Add onion + green chilli and stir fry till translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste and stir fry till raw smell leaves .

Add capsicum and stir fry for a min .

Add the tomatoes + salt and mix well.

Cover and cook till tomatoes turn soft.

Add the chilli pwdr + coriander pwdr + kitchen king masala + turmeric + pepper pwdr and stir fry for a min.

Add the roasted besan and mix well.

Stir and fry for a min .

Add the milk and mix well .

Once it starts boiling add the paneer and mix well .

Cook for a min .

Add kasoori methi ,  give a  nice mix and off the flame .

Serve hot with any indian bread.

Drizzle lemon juice while serving .

* Serve with roti, naan and phulka or as a filling for sandwiches.
