DILL LEAVES CHAPATI
DILL LEAVES ROTI / DILL LEAVES PHULKA / DILL LEAVES CHAPATI

Dill is packed with flavonoids, which have been shown to help reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. But that’s not the only reason dill is thought to improve heart health. Research on animals shows that dill can also reduce LDL cholesterol levels.
INGREDIENTS
- Whole Wheat Flour/ Multi Grain Flour- 1 cup+ extra for dusting
- Dill leaves finely chopped – ¼ or ½ cup
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Salt- To taste
METHOD
Wash the dill leaves and discard the stem .
It is important to discard the stems , we need only the leaves , else it will become difficult to roll the chapati dough .
Chop the leaves very finely .
Take the chopped leaves in a bowl along with flour + salt + 1 tsp oil and then mix them all.
Now make a soft non-sticky dough, by gradually adding little water at a time.
Let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes, covered.
Divide the dough into 5 or 6 equal parts and make smooth balls.
Now roll it into chapati , not too thick/ thin.
Heat a pan and put the chapati over it it .
Fry on both sides, until golden brown spots are got.
Once done apply ghee or oil all over .
Serve it hot with any chutney or curry or sabjis of your choice.
NOTE
The quantity of leaves to be added depends on persons choice as to how strong flavor they like .
