BATTISA LADOOS FOR LACTATING MOTHER / SOONTH LADOO

Battisa powder is a mixture of 32 locally available medicinal and herbal plants. It consists of important herbs that are useful for women’s health. It is used in sutkeri gudpak, a very famous dish especially made for lactating women.

Battisa Laddu , a home remedy made from various herbal medicines can be beneficial. These can be consumed by women of any age. These laddu’s don’t only strengthen the bones but also improves immunity. Headache, Back pain, Weak bones, anemia, swelling in womb, Infections, Vaginal discharge (Shweta pradar)This laddu strengthens the body and also provides vigor and vitality.

Its made of healthy ingredients like  – Majufal, Ashwagandha, Sua, Dalchini, Kayfal, Choti Pippal, Nagkesar, Ajwain, Harar, Lodhr, Nirgundi, Chopchini, Soth, Mochras, Manjistha, Methi, Kali Musli, Safed Musli, Bala, Makhana, Lajvanti, Meda Lakdi, Gengchi, Kamarkas , Munnaka , Satavari , Chikni Supari ,Gond ,Coconut powder ,Wheat flour ,Desi Ghee , Jaggery

Here for this recipe I am using a ready store bought masala pwdr . Google for battisa powder online .Its easily available in different brands.

INGREDIENTS

  • Masala pwdr – 1 pkt  [ 1 PKT is of 50 grms ]
  • Dry dates finely chopped or blend in mixie – 125 grms
  • Gond / dink – 125 grms
  • Dry coconut grated and roasted or use dessicated coconut  – 200 grms
  • Roasted khus khus – 2 tbsp [ optional ]
  • Cardamom pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Ghee – 4 cup
  • Jaggery –  500 grms

PREPARATION –

Fry the dink in ghee . remove and keep aside crush it as needed.

Take ghee + jaggery in a pan and cook till the jaggery melts completely .

Now take all the ingredients in a big plate and mix well .

Form ladoos and store it .

Take 1 ladoo with 1 cup milk .

NOTE –

  1. If you don’t want to make ladoos , then take 1 tsp of this masala pwdr in milk .
  2. These laddu’s are of hot  and takes more time to digest.
  3. Pregnant women shouldn’t consume them.
  4. Avoid sour, fried as well as non-fibrous eatables while consuming them.
