HOW TO BOIL EGGS IN EGG STEAMER /KENT EGG BOILER MANUAL

I am using kent egg boiler . It has  automatic power-off feature that automatically turns the boiler off once the eggs are perfectly boiled.

Read the manual – user guide  to know how much water has to be added .

Egg boilers come with a needle pin and a measuring cup  that enables the correct amount of water to be added as per your preference and how many eggs you need to boil.

FEATURES OF KENT EGG BOILER

  • Can Boil as per Choice – Hard, Medium or  Soft .
  • Stainless Steel Heating Plate.
  • Can Boil up to 6 Eggs without any Cracks .
  • Easy One Touch Operation.
  • Automatic Power – off after Egg Boiling. Automatically Switches Off when water dries out.

METHOD TO BOIL EGGS

  1. Fill the measuring cup with normal water depending on the desired hardness and the number of eggs, using the respective markings on the measuring cup .
  2. If you want 6 hard boiled eggs, fill the water cup to the line that corresponds with the hard  egg line and the number four. Pour water [ roughly 50 ml ] into the water tray.
  3. Pierce the flat end of the eggs with an egg piercer, as it prevents the eggs from bursting or cracking during the boiling process. This is optional .
  4. Place the egg-holder on the boiler, and place the eggs with the pointed part facing downwards and flat portion upwards . Close the lid once done.
  5. Plug into the wall outlet and turn on by pushing the ON/OFF switch. The control light will get lit.
  6. When the eggs are ready, the light will turn off.It takes roughly 10 minutes for hard boiled eggs .
  7. Switched off the switch.
  8. If you plan to serve the eggs immediately, switch off the appliance . Switch off the appliance, otherwise the eggs will continue to boil and become harder.
  9. Remove the egg-holder with the eggs from the water tray and hold them under normal water in case you want to serve them immediately after boiling.
  10. If you want to keep the eggs warm, leave the appliance switched on until you are ready to serve them.
  11. If you want to use the  boiler again then allow the boiler to cool for min 5 mins and re use it again .

NOTE – Use extreme caution as the stainless steel lid becomes extremely hot. Always use the handle to remove the lid. During use, the steam hole on the top of the lid gets very hot. Do not touch or cover steam hole when in use.

  • 3 eggs – 60 ml water for hard , 35 ml for medium and 27 ml for soft
  • 6 eggs –  50 ml water  for hard , 25 ml for medium and 18 ml for soft
