LOBSTER MASALA
Lobsters are a family of large marine crustaceans. Lobsters have long bodies with muscular tails, and live in crevices or burrows on the sea floor. Three of their five pairs of legs have claws, including the first pair, which are usually much larger than the others.
Lobster is a type of shellfish that is typically prepared by boiling or steaming.
- Lobsters are a great source of selenium and also contain omega 3 fatty acids.
- They can help protect against thyroid disease, depression , and anemia .
- Lobster can serve as the main source of protein in a meal.
- lobster is healthy for most diets, providing a good source of essential nutrients and protein. Lobster is a good source of phosphorous, which supports kidney function. It also provides more than 10 percent of your daily requirement for magnesium in a 3-ounce serving.
INGREDIENTS –
- Lobster – 3 OR 4
- Chopped onion – 1 big
- Curry leaves – 1 sprig
- Chopped green chilli – 1
- Chopped tomato – 2
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 or 11/2 tsp or as per taste
- Turmeric powder – ¼ spoon
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder -1/4 tsp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
- Oil – 2 tablespoon
- Lemon juice as needed to serve .
- Salt as per taste
METHOD
Clean the lobster as shown in the video .
Heat oil in a pan .
Add onions + green chilli + curry leaves and stir fry till translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and stir fry till raw smell leaves .
Add tomato + salt and cook till oil separates .
Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder ,coriander pwdr and gram masala .
Mix well and stir fry for few seconds .
Add lobster meat and mix well .
Stir fry 2 min .
Now stir and cook 8 to 10mins . [ don’t over cook the meat ]
Garnish with coriander leaves
Lobster masala fry is ready to serve.
Drizzle lemon juice while serving .
I enjoid it with pav.
