MOMOS PARATHA
INGREDIENTS
- Chapati wheat flour dough as needed
- Grated cabbage – 1 cup
- Grated carrot – 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped onion – ½ cup
- Finely chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup
- Green chilli + ginger + garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Chilli sauce – ½ tsp
- Pepper pwdr – ½ tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Finely chopped coriander leaves as needed
- Oil / butter / ghee as needed for roasting the parathas – 2 tsp
NOTE – If using grated veges ,squeeze the excess water and use .
METHOD
Take all the stuffing ingredients in a mixing bowl .
After mixing if you feel there is moisture ,then take the stuffing in a thick towel and squeeze the juice .
The stuffing should not be wet .
Divide the dough into equal portin and roll it into smooth balls.
Take a ball and roll it into a small circle as seen in the video below.
Place the stuffing in the centre and bring the edges together in the centre and pinch it.
Flatten it by patting it and roll it into thick parathas using dry flour .
Heat a tava ,and carefully place the paratha on it .
Fry on both sides till golden spots appear by drizzling oil or ghee or butter and gently pressing it with a spatula.
Once done remove it .
Serve hot with any side accompaniments .
