SOFT AND SPONGY HOT MILK CAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS [ 1 cup – 250 ml ]

  • Maida – 1 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Egg at room temperature – 2 big or 3 small
  • Butter – 5 tbsp
  • Hot Milk – 10 tbsp
  • Sugar powder – 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Baking tray greased and laid with butter paper

METHOD

Sive maida + baking powder and keep aside .

In a bowl take the eggs and beat it on speed for 4 to 5 mins till it thickens .

Add sugar + vanilla essence and beat well till light fluffy .

Add the sieve flour and mix well with the beater till smooth .See that there are no lumps .

Take hot milk + butter and mix well till the butter melts completely .

Now slowly add the hot milk to the egg mixture and mix well with the beater.

Pour the batter in the greased tray and tap it gently .

Bake for 30 to 35 mins on !80 * till the cake is baked well.

Allow it to cool and slice it .
