RESTAURANT STYLE EGG GRAVY

Hard-boiled eggs are an excellent source of lean protein. They’ll fill you up without packing in too many calories, which is helpful if you want to lose weight. The protein in hard-boiled eggs also works alongside vitamin D to promote prenatal development.

INGREDIENTS

  • Boiled eggs – 6
  • Cumin seeds – ½  tsp
  • Green Chillies, chopped – 1
  • Onions, fine chopped – 2  
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 ½  tsp
  • Curd – ¼ cup
  • Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
  • Jeera pwdr – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼  tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 ½  tsp or as per taste
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder – ½ tsp
  • Tomato Purée  – 1 big tomato
  • Salt- 1 tsp
  • Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp

METHOD

Boil and shell the eggs.

Take curd in a bowl , add ¼ cup water and beat well .Add all masala pwdrs and mix well – Kasuri Methi  , Jeera pwdr , Turmeric Powder , Red Chilli Powder , Coriander Powder and Garam Masala Powder .

Heat oil in a pan , add cumin seeds and let it splutters .

Add the chopped green chilli  +  onion. Stir fry till light brown.

Add the  ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell leaves.

 Add the tomato purée and mix well .Stir fry till oil separates.

 Now lower the heat , add the curd mix and mix it well.

Stir and cook on low flame  for around few  mins till oil separates.

 Add 200 ml water, mix and bring to  a boil .

Add the boiled eggs and give a mix .

Simmer on low flame for 3  to 4 mins till you get desired consistency.

Serve with rice or roti.
