SALT AND PEPPER CHICKEN KEBABS
INGREDIENTS
- Boneless chicken – 500 grms
- Pepper pwdr – 1 tbsp or as per taste
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Crushed garlic – 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
- Bell pepper / capsicum cubes / onion / tomato as needed
METHOD
Chop the chicken into small cubes .
Small pieces of chicken should be used for best results.
Take all ingreidients one by one in a bowl and mix well
Cover with a cling film and refrigerate for an hour or over night. Greater the marination time, better is the result.
Once done thread the chicken onto the skewers, alternating it with chunks of onion, tomato and capsicum.
Don’t give space between the chicken pieces .
When you are ready to grill the kabobs, heat a grill pan until smoking hot and brush it with oil.
Then place the chicken skewers on the hot grill.
Let it grill on medium flame .
Then flip them over after 5 mins and grill for another 5 minutes.
Again, flip and lay it on sideways for another few minutes.
Within 12 to 15 mins , the kebabs should be charred on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside while remaining juicy.
Take them out and serve hot with lemon wedges and any dip / chutney / salsa .
You can use it in stuffing for wraps / shawarama /tortillas etc or just serve it a with a salad .
