BAKED VADA PAV RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Maida – 2 cup [ 250 grms ]
- Warm water – 3/4 cup roughly depending on the flour quality
- Active dry yeast – 1 ½ tsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste – 1/2 tsp
- 2 tbsp milk + 1 tsp sugar mixed together

NOTE – I have fried the vadas and stuffed , you can just stuff the potato stuffing and make .
METHOD
Take flour + yeast + salt in a bowl and mix well.
Now gradually add the warm water and start kneading the flour into a soft dough .
Knead it on a kitchen platform .
The dough will be sticky , but as we knead it will become soft and pliable.
while kneading if it sticks to the surface, scrape the dough and knead .
Knead for atleast 4 mins.
Finally add the oil and knead for 1 min.
Cover and keep aside for 2 hr min .
Dough is ready to use .
Divide the dough into equal parts . [ roughly 45 to 50 grms each and for the centre portion roughly 70 grms ]
Now follow the method given in the video , shape and stuff it.
Leave some space between each roll .
Cover and allow to rest again for 1 hour .
Now give a milk wash .
Bake it preheated oven at 180 * C for 25 to 30 mins till done .
Once done remove and apply butter all over .
Cover and keep aside for 5 mins.
Serve immediately
